I need to have my convertible top replaced. Does the rear window need to be replaced as well?
For most domestic vehicles, no – only if the fabric has seperated from the glass more than five inches. Most imports, however, utilize one-piece construction so the existing glass cannot be reused.
Will you negotiate directly with my insurance carrier?
Absolutely! We deal regularly with all major auto insurance underwriters, and will gladly handle all paperwork and communication related to your claim.
Can I drive my convertible through a car wash?
For convertible tops, hand washing is best. The machinery in automatic car washes may damage or puncture your top.
How should I maintain my convertible top?
George Yago Auto Trim recommends a 5:1 dilution of Murphy’s Oil Soap and a soft bristled brush for routine cleaning and spot treatments.
Do you offer after-hours dropoff?
Yes, provided prior notification is given.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Appointments are strongly recommended, but for emergencies or estimates we invite you to visit us any time during normal business hours.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?
My workmanship is guaranteed forever. Convertible top fabric is warranted 3 years by the manufacturer; seat fabric is warranted 1 year.
